Dr. Suarez’s Approach To Therapy
Dr. Suarez uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychotherapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Integrative Therapies, which utilize a variety of approaches to tailor treatment to the client’s needs. She also offers Cognitive Rehabilitation and Executive Function Therapy.
Dr. Suarez gives her clients a safe environment to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship. With time and an occasional laugh or two, she helps clients achieve their goals, increase satisfaction in their lives, and further grow into the best version of themselves.
About Dr. Lisa Suarez
Dr. Lisa Suarez is a postdoctoral resident who completed her graduate degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a general practitioner with specialized experience working with adults and geriatric populations. Dr. Suarez is knowledgeable in therapies that target depression, anxiety, mood disorders, executive function difficulties, traumatic brain injury, spiritual issues, and caregiver stress. She also has a background helping clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Dr. Suarez provides psychotherapy services to individuals beginning at 18 years old.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Suarez enjoys gardening, baking, ancestry research, music, history, and spending time with family and friends.
