Dr. Heurlin’s Approach to Therapy
Briana approaches treatment through an Interpersonal lens, while incorporating Person-centered and Psychodynamic theories and techniques. She aims to create a safe and warm therapeutic space to navigate client concerns alongside them. Briana approaches these concerns with a caring, empathetic demeanor while helping individuals to make meaning of their experiences and move forward with a better understanding of themselves and their connections with others.
About Briana Heurlin
Dr. Briana Heurlin is a postdoctoral resident who completed her graduate degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She provides psychotherapy services to individuals in late adolescence through adulthood, helping them to identify ways to make meaningful changes in their lives. Briana has experience working with individuals on a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal/relationship concerns, healthy communication, boundaries, identity development, and self-esteem.
Outside of work Briana enjoys going on walks with her dog, listening to music, baking, watching (and re-watching) her favorite TV shows, and spending time with family and friends!
