About Sage Kim
Sage Kim is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Doctoral Diagnostic Extern committed to working with individuals across the lifespan. Sage has extensive experience providing services to a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with severe mental health challenges, children and adolescents recovering from trauma, and court-mandated populations. Her genuine appreciation for diversity has also led her to volunteer her time to deliver services to underserved populations, particularly those from racial/ethnic minorities and immigrant families. Additionally, Sage serves as a member of the alumni panel and a mentor to current students in the Northwestern University counseling program, providing support and guidance to foster both individual and group learning.
Through her experiences, Sage has gained significant self-awareness, learned the value of open-mindedness, and come to deeply appreciate the importance of demonstrating compassion towards all people. She firmly believes that everyone has the right to access services and is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where individuals can freely express their concerns without fear of stigmatization.
In her free time, Sage enjoys spending time with her 15-year-old paw companion, Mr. O’Miley, and playing the violin, which she has played since the age of 4.
