Linda takes an integrative approach to therapy to best support the client in their journey toward growth and healing. Linda has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and can provide the client with resources to promote positive change. Linda considers it an honor to come alongside her clients as they work toward their established goals. Linda believes it is never too late to rewrite your narrative.
About Linda Schumacher
Linda Schumacher received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Bible Institute and her BS from the University of Tennessee. Linda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Linda has a warm client-centered approach and values the courage it takes for someone to enter the therapeutic process. Linda takes a collaborative approach with her clients built on trust and respect and works with them to reach their fullest potential. Linda has experience working in a partial hospitalization program with adolescents and adults. Linda’s areas of interest include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relational issues, life transitions, parenting concerns, and children with chronic health conditions and support for their families. Linda believes that personal growth and development is a lifelong process as our needs change throughout the seasons of our lives.
In her free time, Linda enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family. She likes biking, hiking, skiing, and long walks with friends. In the summer, she enjoys concerts in the parks, festivals, and working in her flower garden.
