About Erika Solgos

Erika received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her undergraduate degree from Carthage College. Erika is a general practitioner who enjoys working with a wide variety of people in various ages and stages of life including people who are experiencing depression and anxiety; navigating adoption-related issues and parenting children with special needs; and facing chronic illness.

Outside the office, Erika enjoys pursuing minimalism, fostering wellness, and spending time with her four young adult children and husband of almost 25 years. Erika is actively engaged with her faith community and connects well with people who desire to grow spiritually. She strongly asserts that sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do for yourself is to take a nap, followed by a good cup of coffee.

“Listening is the highest form of hospitality, not to change people, but offering them space where change can take place”. - Henri Nouwen
