More About Diane Doll
Diane and her husband have six sons, ranging in ages from teenagers to young adults. When not at Heritage, Diane is likely doing yoga, at a spinning class, taking a long walk with her two yellow labs, or reading. Spending time with her family and friends, preferably in a novel city, is what she finds most invigorating. She is always dreaming about her next travel destination.
About Diane Doll
Diane graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Psychology while also studying German. Her background in learning another language is still relevant in her work today, as she strives to gain knowledge about human behavior by understanding more about other cultures. After having been a stay-at-home mother for 20 years, Diane went back to graduate school and earned a master's degree in social work. She is currently a licensed clinical social worker and has worked not only doing individual therapy, but has experience working at a partial hospitalization program with both adolescents and adults. Diane has been at Heritage since 2018.
Diane provides individual therapy to adults using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including CBT, IFS and mindfulness. She treats clients who need support managing anxiety, depression and other life issues such as parenting and interpersonal relationships. She draws upon not only her clinical training but also on her life experience, particularly having raised a large family, to assist clients on their own life journeys.
Diane feels passionate about helping others to explore and discover the best version of themselves. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and she works collaboratively with clients to set both purpose-driven and sustainable goals. Diane strives to help clients find meaning in their lives by helping them to clarify their values and develop tools to live in accordance with them.
