Beth wants to get to know clients exactly as they are. She works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. She is passionate about supporting people to understand how events, relationships and thoughts affect their lives. Beth partners with clients to increase self compassion, the ability to cope with difficult emotions, and the capacity for joy and connection.

About Elizabeth Gibbons

Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her B.A from DePaul University and her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. Beth draws from a number of therapeutic modalities and has an interest in research and exploring the mind-body connection. She is committed to learning and self-reflection as a therapist. 

Outside of the office Beth enjoys yoga, travel, and spending as much time as she can with loved ones - including her husband and two young boys. Prior to her career as a therapist, Beth worked for over a decade in major gift development at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
