Kim Lodewyk, PhD, LCP
Dr. Lodewyk’s Approach To Therapy
Dr. Kim’s approach to therapy is focused on creating a safe, caring space for her clients, starting with listening and compassionate inquiry as she seeks to understand the symptoms and root causes of suffering in a person's life. She highly values the sacredness and uniqueness of the therapeutic relationship and feels that this relationship is a key part of the healing journey. Together, she and her clients work towards healing with Dr. Kim guiding and utilizing evidence based interventions. She completed her dissertation on neuropsychology and depression. Since then she has been continually studying the interplay between psychology and physiology, and she utilizes EMDR, Memory Reconsolidation and other interventions to promote positive, lasting change in both. She would welcome the opportunity to be a part of your journey.
