Mentalization Based Therapy Group for Adults

Fridays in Wheaton at 9am beginning in May

Mentalization is like a superpower for your mind! It's the ability to understand that your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected and can change depending on the situation. When you have attachment wounds, it can be hard to see that your thoughts and feelings are like a puzzle that can be solved. Mentalization helps you step back, look at the whole picture, and find new ways to put the pieces together. It's like having a wise guide inside your mind, helping you navigate tricky emotions and relationships. With mentalization, you can start to understand why you feel the way you do, and make positive changes to build stronger, healthier connections with others. It's like learning a new language that helps you communicate better with yourself and others, and can help heal those attachment wounds.
