More About Dr. McConnell

Prior to coming to Heritage Professional Associates, Dr. McConnell completed both an internship and a postdoctoral residency in clinical psychology at Veterans Health Administration (VA) medical centers. He also has a faculty appointment at Wheaton College in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program. He is an active member with leadership roles in the American Psychological Association.

Dr. McConnell is a licensed psychologist who specializes in both neuropsychology and psychotherapy. He provides assessments and evidenced-based psychotherapy for a wide-range of concerns including anxiety, OCD, PTSD/trauma, depression, serious mental illnesses, ADHD, chronic pain, concussion and traumatic brain injury, stroke, dementia, and decision-making capacity.

Dr. McConnell specializes in integrating assessments and interventions. He will provide you with a clear understanding of your concerns in order for you to live optimally. He is a champion for optimal human functioning in work, life, and relationships. With empathy and compassion, he will help you understand and overcome hardships.
